Silverado 1500 2WD V8-6.0L Hybrid (2009)
10. Using the J 37043 (1), remove the park brake cable from the backing plate.
11. Remove the park brake cable from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the park brake cable to the vehicle.
2. Install the brake shoes. Refer to Brake Shoe Replacement (See: Drum Brake System/Brake Shoe/Service and Repair) .
Ensure the locking tabs on the cable conduit are fully engaged into the rear axle bracket.
