28. Remove and discard the intake manifold gaskets (514).
29. Clean and inspect the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Cleaning and Inspection (See: Service and Repair/Overhaul) .
30. Remove the upper intake manifold cover nut.
31. Remove the upper intake manifold cover.
