Silverado 1500 4WD V8-6.0L Hybrid (2009)
1. If installing the old sensor, coat the threads with sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution) .
2. Install the ECT sensor.
Tighten the sensor to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the ECT sensor (1).
4. Refill the cooling. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill) (See: Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling
