Silverado 2500 2WD V8-8.1L VIN G (2005)
1. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Reinstall the remaining 10 bolts marked (1) and 4 bolts marked (2) that fasten the control valve assembly to the main housing.

Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (108 inch lbs.).
5. Push the main transmission connector (2) outward through the hole (1) in the main housing until the retaining feet on the connector are nearing the
locked position.
6. Use the J 44247 to complete the seating of the retaining feet that lock the connector (1) into the main housing.
7. Install the detent spring assembly (2) onto the control valve assembly. Confirm that the roller of the detent spring assembly rests on the detent
