Silverado 2500 4WD V8-6.6L DSL Turbo (2010)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
1. Install the fuel temperature sensor (1) to the fuel return pipe.
Tighten the sensor to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).
2. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the fuel temperature sensor.
3. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming (See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Service and Repair/Fuel
System Priming).
4. Start the engine. If the engine stalls, repeat the above step.
5. Once the engine starts, inspect for fuel leaks.
