Apply a 50 mm (2 in) wide piece of masking tape in this location and draw a small line on it. Refer to the illustration above.

Next, not following the contour, measure 908 mm (35-3/4 in) from the back of the headliner forward to intersect the other measurement and draw
a line. Refer to the illustration above. Repeat for the other side.

Lay a drop cloth under the drill locations.

Using a 7.1 mm (9/32 in) drill bit with a drill stop attached 22 mm (7/8 in) from the tip of the drill, drill two holes through the headliner and roof
reinforcement at the two locations.

Install the two retainers.
