Silverado Classic 1500 4WD V8-5.3L Hybrid (2007)
Important: A NEW battery service disconnect switch comes in the open position for safety concerns. The service part will need to be
closed with a scan tool after the part has been installed.
1. Install the battery service disconnect switch (1).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.
2. Install the battery service disconnect switch nuts (3).
Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
3. Connect the battery service disconnect switch electrical connector (3).
4. If a NEW switch was installed, use a scan tool and command the battery service disconnect switch to the closed position.
5. Install the generator battery carrier intermediate cover.
