Stabilizer Link: Service and Repair

Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (35 Series) 

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.

2. Remove the stabilizer shaft link nut (5) from the frame (1).
3. Remove the stabilizer link nut from the stabilizer shaft (4).

Installation Procedure

1. Notice:  

Refer to Fastener Notice.

Install the stabilizer shaft link to the frame (1) and to the stabilizer shaft and install the retaining nuts (5).

Tighten the stabilizer shaft link bolt to the frame (1) to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the stabilizer shaft link to the stabilizer shaft to 145 Nm (107 ft. lbs.).

2. Lower the vehicle.
