Carburetor Float: Adjustments

1.

Check clearance between float top and gasket with the float in the raised position. Clearance should be .59 inch.

2.

If clearance obtained is not as specified, bend float protruding tang located between float bracket arms until correct clearance is obtained. Do not
damage needle valve when adjusting float level.

3.

Check clearance between float bottom and gasket with the float at its lowered position. Clearance should be 1.7 inch.

4.

If clearance obtained is not as specified, bend float bracket tang located above righthand float bracket arm until correct clearance is obtained.
