Wheel Bearing: Service and Repair
REAR HUB AND/OR BEARINGS
1.
Raise and support rear of vehicle.
2.
Remove wheel and tire assembly.
3.
Remove hub cap, cotter pin and nut and washer, then the hub and brake drum assembly.
4.
Remove outer bearing from hub by hand.

5.
Remove oil seal from hub using tool No. J-26941 or equivalent, Fig. 6.
6.
Remove inner bearing from hub by hand.

7.
Tap inner bearing outer race and outer bearing outer race out of hub, Fig. 7.
