6. Disconnect the inflatable restraint yellow 2-way connector (1) and the horn connector (3) from the upper steering wheel inflator module coil
connectors.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the inflatable restraint yellow 2-way connector and the horn connector to the upper steering wheel inflator module coil connectors.
2. Install the inflatable restraint yellow 2-way connector and the horn connector in the steering wheel.
3. Install the steering wheel inflator module to the steering wheel taking care so that no part of the wire harness is caught between them.
4. Make sure that the clearance between and steering wheel is uniform all the way around.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notes.
5. Install the 2 TORX(R) bolts in order to secure the inflator module to the steering wheel.
TIGHTEN
Tighten the inflator module-to-steering wheel bolts to 9 N.m (6.5 lb ft).
6. Install the mounting bolt hole caps.
7. Enable the SIR.
