Knee Diverter: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the following components from the instrument panel:
1.1. The 3 screws (2)
1.2. The IP steering column opening trim plate (1)
2. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
2.1. The 4 bolts (1 or 4)
2.2. The IP drivers knee bolster panel (2 or 3)
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
1. Install the IP drivers knee bolster panel (2 or 3).
Secure the panel with the 4 bolts (1 or 4).
Tighten
Tighten the knee bolster panel bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
