Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the front side door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (See: Window Glass/Front Door Window Glass/Service and
Repair) .
2. Disconnect the front side door window regulator electrical connector, if equipped.
3. Remove the 4 bolts (1) and the 3 nuts (2) which secure the front side door window regulator.
4. Remove the window regulator through the large opening in the inner portion of the front side door (3).
Installation Procedure
1. Apply a multipurpose grease to the specified points.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the front side door window regulator through the large opening in the inner portion of the front side door (3). Secure the regulator to the
door with the 4 bolts (1) and the 3 nuts (2).
Tighten the front side door window regulator bolts and nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
3. Connect the front side door window regulator electrical connector, if equipped.
4. Install the front side door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (See: Window Glass/Front Door Window Glass/Service and
