Accelerator Controls Cable Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the accelerator control cable (1) from the accelerator pedal (2).
2. Push the accelerator control cable through the bulkhead grommet.
3. Disconnect the accelerator control cable (1) from the throttle body by rotating the throttle lever (3) to wide open throttle (WOT) and removing the
cable end from the slot.
4. Loosen the accelerator control cable locknut and the accelerator control cable adjusting nut.
5. Remove the accelerator control cable (1) from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the accelerator control cable (1) to the cable bracket.
2. Connect the accelerator control cable (1) to the throttle lever (3).
3. Secure the accelerator control cable with the cable locknut and the adjusting nut. Do not tighten fully.
