Engine Mount: Service and Repair
Engine Mount Replacement (Right Side)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION:  Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the four bolts and reposition the shroud to the rear.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. 
4. Support the engine using an engine support stand.
5. Remove the four bolts and the front skid plate from the engine (if equipped).
6. Disconnect the lead wires from the starter motor to gain clearance for the engine mount assembly removal. 
7. Remove the three right-side engine mount-to-frame bracket bolts.
8. Remove the right-side engine mount-to-engine bracket bolts.
9. Raise the engine slightly to provide clearance for the engine mount assembly removal.

10. Remove the right-side engine mount (2) from the vehicle.
11. Disassemble the right-side engine mount-to-frame bracket (1) from the engine mount (2).
12. Disassemble the right-side engine mount-to-engine bracket (3) to the engine mount (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Assemble the right-side engine mount-to-engine bracket (3) to the engine mount (2).
2. Assemble the right-side engine mount-to-frame bracket (1) to the engine mount (2).
3. Install the right-side engine mount (2) to the engine.
4. Install the three right-side engine mount-to-frame bracket bolts. Do not tighten fully.

NOTICE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the three right-side engine mount-to-engine bracket bolts.

Tighten the right-side engine mount-to-frame bracket bolts to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the right-side engine mount-to-engine bracket bolts to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).

NOTICE:  Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners
requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use
paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint
clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid
damage to parts and systems.

6. Connect the lead wires to the starter motor. 
7. Remove the engine support stand.
8. Install the front skid plate to the engine (if equipped). Secure the skid plate with four bolts.

Tighten the front skid plate bolts to 55 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).

9. Lower the vehicle.

10. Install the shroud to the radiator. Secure the shroud with four bolts.

Tighten the shroud bolts to 11 Nm (97 inch lbs.).
