Air Filter Element: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

1. Loosen the four hold down screws (1).
2. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector (2).
3. Disconnect the IAT sensor electrical connector (3).
4. Remove the air cleaner cover, the MAF sensor and the air inlet duct as a complete assembly.
5. Remove the air filter element (4) from the air cleaner housing.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the air filter element into the air cleaner housing.
2. Install the air cleaner cover, the MAF sensor and the air inlet duct assembly.
3. Secure with the four hold down screws.
4. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
5. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
