Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the accelerator control cable (4) from the accelerator pedal (3).
2. Remove the accelerator pedal push nut (2) and the accelerator pedal from the mounting bracket (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the accelerator pedal to the mounting bracket.
2. Secure the accelerator pedal with a new accelerator pedal push nut.

Note:  Be sure to install the spring while sliding the accelerator pedal into the mounting bracket.

3. Connect the accelerator control cable to the accelerator pedal.
