Governor Body Installation

J 36850 Transjel Transmission Assembly Lubricant

1. Apply a thin coat of J 36850 to the primary and secondary valves.
2. Install the following items into the governor body (412):

The primary valve (415)

^

The secondary valve (413)

^

The secondary spring (414)

^

The secondary valve retainer (411)

3. Install the governor fluid screen (2) into the governor hub (1).

4. Install a new governor assembly gasket and a governor assembly (1) into the governor hub.
5. Install the four governor assembly bolts (2).
