8. Place a drain pan or suitable container under the transmission drain plug (1).
9. Remove the drain plug in order to allow the transmission fluid pan (2) to drain.
10. Remove the fourteen transmission fluid pan (2) bolts from the transmission.
11. Remove the transmission fluid pan from the transmission.
12. Remove the gasket from the transmission.
13. Remove the three fluid pipes in the following order: 7, 4 and 8.
14. Remove the electrical connector from the Torque Converter Clutch
(TCC)
solenoid.
15. Remove the two bolts from the lower valve body.
