Install 3M(R) Strip Caulk sealer, P/N 08578; American Dominion OEM Strip Caulk, P/N 10055, or equivalent to the end of the molding (1). Refer to
Figure 3.
Condition 3
Water drips from the bottom side, top joint of the garnish molding (1). Refer to Figure 2.
Cause
This condition may be caused by missing foam on the end of the molding or foam that may have been damaged during assembly.
Correction
Apply 3M(R) Ultrapro Autobody sealant, P/N 08302, or equivalent to the inside edge of the molding (1). Refer to Figure 2.
Condition 4
Water runs over the top of the garnish molding.
Cause
The drain hole may be partially covered with material, causing the water to back up and drain over the top of the molding.
