Tracker 4WD L4-2.0L VIN C (1999)
16. Align the dark blue link (1) of the camshaft timing chain with the arrow (2, 3) on the camshaft sprockets.
17. Align the camshaft sprockets with the guide pins and install the camshaft timing sprockets and chain.
18. Install the camshaft sprocket bolts (1).
Tighten the bolts to 80 Nm (58 ft. lbs.).
19. Compress the camshaft tensioner plunger into the body. Insert a retainer (paper clip or similar tool) through the hole in the body in order to hold
the plunger in place.
