EVAP Canister Vent Valve Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the two evaporative emission (EVAP) system vent hoses (1).
2. Disconnect the EVAP canister vent solenoid electrical connector (4).
3. Remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid nut (2).
4. Remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid (3) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the EVAP canister vent solenoid (3) to the bracket with the one nut (2).

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 1.6 Nm (14 lb in).

2. Install both vacuum lines (1).
3. Connect the EVAP canister vent solenoid electrical connector (4).
4. Connect the two EVAP system vent hoses (1).
