Wheel Stud Replacement

J 6627-A Wheel Stud Remover 

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
3. Remove the brake drum. Refer to Brake Drum Replacement in Brakes and Traction Control.
4. Remove the 4 rear axle shaft retaining nuts (2).

5. Pull the rear flange (1) out partially in order to access the wheel studs using the J 34866 with the J 2619-01. Refer to Rear Axle Shaft

Replacement.

6. Use the J 6627-A in order to remove the wheel stud.
