1. Install the oil filter bypass valve (2).

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the oil filter adapter (1).

Tighten the adapter to 55 N.m (40 lb ft).

3. Install the oil filter.

Tighten the filter to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

4. Refill the engine oil if necessary. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities or to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations.
