3. Install the fuel rail (1).
4. Apply a 5 mm (0.2 in) band of threadlock GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or equivalent, to the threads of the fuel rail bolts (2 and

3).

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

5. Install the fuel rail bolts (2, and 3) and tighten to10 Nm (89 lb in).
6. Tighten the fuel rail retainer clip screws to3.8 Nm (34 lb in).

7. Connect the fuel feed pipe (1) to the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service   (See: Fuel Line Coupler/Service and
