TrailBlazer 4WD V8-5.3L VIN M (2006)
1. Correctly position the spark plug washer.
2. Inspect the spark plug gap. Adjust the gap as needed.
Spark plug gap: 1.524 mm (0.060 in)
3. Hand start the spark plug in the corresponding cylinder.
4. Tighten the spark plug.

For used heads, tighten the plug to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

For NEW heads, tighten the plug to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
5. Install the spark plug wire.
6. If removed, install the washer solvent container.
