4. Install the hood over-slam bumpers and align with the front edge of the hood as shown (1).
5. With the bumpers installed and aligned, pull down the front of the bumper and apply a small amount of black silicone sealant such as GM P/N
12346286 (in Canada, 10953472) RTV Silicone Sealant or equivalent to the area in front of the mounting hole in the hood.
6. Verify the alignment of the over-slam bumper and close the hood to apply pressure to the bond area. Allow the adhesive to fully cure per the adhesive
manufacturer's instructions.
