Subject: Proper Removal of Cargo Screen Retainers For Any Service Repairs Related to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Removal

The purpose of this bulletin is to provide detail regarding the proper removal of the cargo screen retainers for any related service repairs. Following the
information below will help eliminate the likelihood of breaking or damaging the quarter lower rear trim panels and/or retainers.
Tip
The cargo screen retainers are engaged to the quarter lower rear trim panel by two integral tabs.
Important
The illustration above shows one configuration example in which screws are located behind the cargo screen retainers and other trim covers.
Be sure to locate and remove all of these screws prior to attempting removal of the quarter lower rear trim panel.
To remove the cargo screen retainers:

Turn the left front (1) and right rear cargo screen retainer counterclockwise one quarter turn to disengage the two integral tabs.

Turn the left rear (2) and right front cargo screen retainer clockwise one quarter turn to disengage the two integral tabs.
