6. Using the pry points located at the edge of the oil pan separate the RTV sealant.
7. Remove the oil pan from the block.
8. Clean the oil pan and the engine block gasket surface. Refer to Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection (See: Service and Repair/Overhaul).
