PRIMARY TIMING CHAIN GUIDE REPLACEMENT - LOWER

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner. See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Repair Instructions/20. Primary Camshaft Intermediate

2. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide bolts. See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Repair Instructions/22. Primary Timing Chain

3. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide to the oil pump.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners
requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use
paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint
