Lubricating Pin Bolt Locations

4. Lubricate the bolt, and bolt boot using silicone grease.
5. Caliper down onto pads.
6. Lower caliper bolt.

Tighten Caliper bolt to 85 Nm (63 ft. lbs.).

7. Remove wheel nuts securing rotor to hub.
8. Tire and wheel.

Align previous marks on wheel and hub.

9. Lower vehicle.

10. Fill master cylinder to proper level with clean brake fluid.
11. Apply brake three times to seat pads against rotor.
12. Burnish pads and rotors.

After brake pads have been replaced and/or rotors have been refinished, it is recommended that the new braking surface be broken in, or
"burnished. This can be accomplished by malting 20 stops from 48 km/h (30 mph) using medium to firm pressure. Take care to avoid
overheating the brakes.
