Venture V6-3.4L VIN E (1997)
Adjustment Procedure
1. Place the transaxle shift lever in the Neutral position.
2. Remove nut securing linkage cable to transaxle manual shaft.
3. Remove linkage cable from manual shaft.
4. Loosen the two PNP switch attaching bolts.
5. Place Park Neutral Position Switch Alignment tool J 41545 onto manual shaft so that slots on the manual shaft engage the tool.
6. Rotate the PNP switch on the manual shaft to align the adjustment slot on the switch with the leg on the tool. Tighten PNP switch attaching bolts to
28 Nm (20 lb. ft.).
7. Remove tool J 41545.
8. Install linkage cable to manual shaft.
9. Install nut securing linkage cable to transaxle manual shaft.
