Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
On-Vehicle Service
REMOVAL
Remove or disconnect the following:
1. Drive belt at pump.
2. Inlet and outlet hose from pump.
3. Bolts/screws from pump.
4. Pump.
5. Power steering pump pulley from pump.
6. Reservoir from pump.
7. Transfer pulley as necessary.
INSTALLATION
Install or connect following:
1. Reservoir to pump.
2
Power steering pump pulley to pump.
3. Position pump to engine.
4. Bolts/screws to power steering pump.
^
Tighten bolts/screws to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.).
5. Inlet and outlet hose to pump.
