Transmission Temperature Sensor - Circuit Operation
CIRCUIT OPERATION
The transmission temperature sensor is used to monitor the temperature of the transmission fluid. The sensor is a variable resistor and is part of the
Manual Valve Lever Position Sensor (MVLPS).
Power for the sensor is supplied by the Transmission Control Module (TCM) on circuit T54. The T54 circuit connects to cavity 54 of the TCM
connector.
Ground for the sensor is supplied on circuit T13. This circuit is spliced with the turbine speed and output speed sensor This circuit connects to
cavity 13 of the TCM connector.
