Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

EXTERIOR HANDLE

REMOVAL

1. Remove the door weatherstrip (2) from the door in the area of the door lock.
2. Loosen the screw (1), pull door handle out to the stop and hold it in place. Retighten the screw (1) lightly with the handle in this position. Left

front door: Right-hand thread. Right front door: Left-hand thread.

NOTE:  The screw will not fall out.
