Timing Component Alignment Marks: Locations

The crankshaft driven timing chain maintains camshaft (6) and balance shaft (3) operation and timing. Timing marks on the crankshaft (2) , balance
shaft (3) and camshafts (5) are aligned with copper links (1) in the timing chain to keep symmetrical valve and ignition performance.
