1. Drain radiator, disconnect battery ground cable and radiator hoses and remove oil dipstick.
2. Remove shroud attaching screws, separate shroud from radiator and position rearward on engine.
3. Raise vehicle and drain oil pan.
4. Remove engine to transmission support bracket.
5. Disconnect exhaust pipe, then torque converter inspection shield.
6. Remove center link from steering arm and idler arm ball joints.
7. Support front of engine with a jack stand placed under the right front corner of oil pan.
8. Remove engine front mount bolts. Raise engine approx. 1-1/2 to 2 inches.
9. Remove oil pan attaching screws, rotate engine crankshaft to clear counterweights and remove oil pan.

10. Reverse procedure to install.
