Keyless Entry Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTE:  On EARLY BUILD vehicles, the SKREEM controls the functions of the SKIM and RKE modules. On NORMAL BUILD vehicles, the
SKREEM controls the functions of the SKIM, RKE module and TPM system. If diagnosing the TPM, use the DRBIII(R) scan tool to determine if the
SKREEM includes TPM system functionality.

1. Open hood, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before beginning any system or component service.
3. Remove knee blocker airbag.

Skreem - Remove/Install

4. Unsnap instrument panel center stack left bezel from instrument panel assembly.
