SUBJECT:
Accessory Drive Splash Shield Damaged and/or Missing

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the existing splash shield with an updated shield.

MODELS:

2004 - 2005

(CS)

Pacifica

NOTE:

This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or before May 16, 2005 (MDH 0516XX).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

The accessory drive belt shield is damaged or missing.

DIAGNOSIS:

If the Symptom/Condition is present, perform the Repair Procedure.

PARTS REQUIRED:

SPECIAL TOOLS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1.

Remove the existing accessory drive belt shield if present.

2.

Install the new shield, p/n 05054374AA, and install new push pins in the three existing holes that line up with the new shield.

3.

If the vehicle was built on or after February 1, 2005 (MDH 0201XXX), proceed to Step # 8. If the vehicle was built on or before January 31, 2005
(MDH 0131XX), proceed to the next step.
