Remove the plastic cup behind the seat belt retractor, the upper B-pillar plug, and the lower B-pillar plug (Fig. 2).

Using Miller Special Tool, C4755 - trim stick and a vacuum, scrape and vacuum the NVH foam to remove it from the B-pillar cavity behind the
plastic cup and seat belt retractor. Remove enough foam to create a 2.5 - 3.8 cm (1 - 1.5 in.) gap between the plastic cup and the remaining foam.

Spray the remaining foam with Mopar Odor Remover, p/n 05073224AA.

Install a new silencer pad, p/n 04716985, in place of the foam that was removed. Ensure that the front and rear cavities are filled as they were
before removing the original foam.
18.
Install a new plastic cup. See the Parts Required Table for the appropriate part numbers.
19.
Replace the upper B-pillar plug, and the lower B-pillar plug. See the Parts Required Table for the appropriate part numbers (Fig. 2).
20.
Install a new seat belt and retractor. See the Parts Required Table for the appropriate part numbers.
21.
Connect the retractor electrical connector.
22.
Install the B-pillar trim. Refer to the service information available in TechCONNECT. Refer to 23 - Body/Interior/B-Pillar Lower Trim -
Installation.

Install the lower seat belt anchor bolt cover (Fig. 2).
24.
Return the seat to the correct position.
25.
Install the front and rear door sill plates.
26.
Close both doors.
