REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1.

Open hood, disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

2.

Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before beginning any system or component service.

3.

Open both doors on the driver's side.

4.

Remove the front and rear door sill plates

5.

Move the front seat to the full forward position.

6.

Remove lower seat belt anchor bolt cover and lower seat belt anchor bolt from lower B-pillar.

7.

Remove the lower B-pillar trim. Refer to the service information available in TechCONNECT. Refer to 23 - Body/Interior/B-Pillar Lower Trim -
Removal.
