Blower Motor: Service and Repair
Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Position the blower motor into the bottom of the HVAC housing.
2. Install the three screws (2) that secure the blower motor (1) to the HVAC housing. Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.).
3. Reach through the glove box opening and engage the connector for the blower motor wire harness leads (3) to the retainer located on the HVAC

housing.

4. Connect the instrument panel wire harness connector to the blower motor wire harness connector and engage the connector lock.
5. Install the glove box See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Glove Compartment/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel Glove Box -

Installation.

6. Install the passenger side instrument panel silencer See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Silencer Panel - Installation.

7. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
