Radiator Support: Service and Repair
Radiator Upper Crossmember - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Open and support the hood.
2. Remove the rubber hood seal (9) from the flange of the upper radiator support (1).
3. Remove the upper grille See: Grille/Service and Repair/Grille - Removal.
4. If required, remove the hood latch (3) from the upper radiator support See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Hood Latch/Service and Repair/Hood
Latch - Removal.
5. If equipped, remove the ambient temperature sensor (4) from the support bracket (5) See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning
Indicators/Outside Temperature Display/Outside Temperature Display Sensor/Service and Repair/Ambient Temperature Sensor - Removal.
6. Remove the bolt (6) that secures the support bracket to the upper radiator support.
7. Remove the six bolts (2) that secure the upper radiator support to the fenders.
8. If required, remove the hood bumpers (7) and upper radiator mounting brackets (8) from the upper radiator support.
