Engine - Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - Installation

2.0L/2.4L ENGINE

Non-Turbo

1. Install engine coolant temperature sensor (1). Torque sensor to 19 Nm (168 in. lbs.).
2. Reconnect engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
3. Fill cooling system.  See: Service and Repair/Cooling System/Filling
4. Connect negative battery cable.

Turbo

1. Install engine coolant temperature sensor (2). Torque sensor to 19 Nm (168 in. lbs.).
2. Reconnect engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
3. Install upper torque strut See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Engine Mount/Engine Torque Strut/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Torque Strut - Installation.

4. Fill cooling system.  See: Service and Repair/Cooling System/Filling
5. Connect negative battery cable.
