Air Register: Service and Repair
Air Outlet - Removal
REMOVAL
NOTE: Center bezel air outlet shown. Other air outlets similar.
1. Depending on the air outlet being serviced, remove the instrument cluster bezel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /
Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Cluster Bezel - Removal , instrument panel center bezel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel Bezel - Removal or the passenger side airbag cover See: Restraint
Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Passenger Air Bag Cover - Removal.
NOTE: If the foam seal on the air outlet is deformed or damaged, it must be replaced.
2. Remove the three screws or nuts (1) (depending on application) that secure the air outlet(s) (2) to the bezel or cover (3) (depending on application)
and remove the outlet(s).
