Starter Motor: Service and Repair
Starter - Removal

2.4L TURBO

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner box, See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and

Repair/Air Cleaner Body - Removal.

3. Pushing the inner cooler hose up and out of the way and remove the upper starter bolt  and ground wire.
4. Raise vehicle and support.
