Front Door Weatherstrip: Service and Repair
Retainer A-Pillar Weatherstrip - Convertible
RETAINER A-PILLAR WEATHERSTRIP - CONVERTIBLE
REMOVAL
1. Remove the header and A-pillar weatherstrip (3) as necessary to gain access to the A-pillar weatherstrip retainer (1). Refer to Weatherstrip.
2. Remove the four screws (2) that secure the A-pillar weatherstrip retainer to the A-pillar (4) and remove the retainer.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the A-pillar weatherstrip retainer (1) onto the A-pillar (4).
2. Install the five screws (2) that secure the A-pillar weatherstrip retainer to the A-pillar. Tighten the screws to 2.2 N.m (20 in. lbs.).
3. Install the header and A-pillar weatherstrip (3).
