Drive Belt: Description and Operation
DESCRIPTION
The accessory drive consist of two Poly-V type drive belts (Fig. 1). One belt drives the generator, the other drives the power steering pump and air
conditioning compressor (if equipped). The power steering/ air conditioning belt is tensioned by an automatically controlled belt tensioner. The
generator belt is manually tensioned using an adjusting bolt and a locking nut.
