Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
EVAP Purge Solenoid Location - 2.4L Turbo
2. Remove solenoid from mounting bracket by pressing tab and pulling of the solenoid from bracket.
EVAP Purge Solenoid - 2.4L Turbo
3. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector from the purge solenoid.
4. Remove the 2 vacuum lines.
5. Remove solenoid.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the 2 vacuum lines.
2. Connect and lock the electrical connector to the purge solenoid.
3. Install solenoid to the mounting bracket.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
