3. Remove belt (Fig. 4).
GENERATOR BELT
1. Remove power steering pump/air conditioning compressor drive belt.
2. Loosen pivot bolt, then locking nut and adjusting bolt (Fig. 5).
3. Remove generator belt.
CLEANING
Clean all foreign debris from belt pulley grooves.
The belt pulleys must be free of oil, grease, and coolants before installing the drive belt.
